Our Treatments
Wounds We Treat
We specialize in the treatment of a wide range of complex, acute, and chronic wounds. Many of these wounds have persisted beyond conventional care. Chronic wounds are generally wounds that fail to heal through the body’s natural healing process (roughly less than 30% wound closure in four weeks after treatment). Some of the wounds we treat are shown to the right:
Our Treatments
We provide both basic conservative wound care such as debridement, negative pressure, compression & antibiotic therapy as well as more advanced treatment modalities Some of the wounds we treat are:
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
Patients rest in a specially pressurized chamber during this painless therapy (HBOT), breathing 100% pure oxygen.
Wound Debridement
When a wound does not heal in a timely manner, the dead tissue or foreign material needs to be removed.
Negative Pressure Therapy
Some open wounds require drawing out of fluid and infection in order to heal.
Total Contact Casting
A special cast is custom crafted for your foot when the skin ulcers on your foot are not healing as expected.
Compression Therapy
Specially crafted stockings are used to treat complex and painful conditions caused by restricted blood flow.
Advanced Modalities
These cutting edge treatments use magnets, sound waves, electricity, or topical oxygen, applied to the wound area.
Skin Grafts
When a wound is too large to heal with other procedures and cannot be closed by sutures, a skin graft may be prescribed.
We provide both basic conservative wound care such as debridement, negative pressure, compression & antibiotic therapy as well as more advanced treatment modalities We begin with a thorough assessment of the local and systemic factors involved and design an individualized, comprehensive plan of care. We use a combination of therapies and evidence-based protocols to target wounds at a full-scale. Our therapies include, but are not limited to, the following:
